About Us
The game of Dominoes is normally played in pairs (two against two) and is played as a series of "ends". In each "end", the objective is for players to attach a domino from their hand to one end of those already played. There are many games of Dominoes so visit our rules page for more details..
Our Mission
The By-Laws World Dominoes Federation further known as WDF serves the purpose of engaging the Worldwide community of the knowledge of dominos in its many forms. These forms include teaching, playing and showcasing dominos worldwide. The mission of WDF is to ensure that the knowledge of dominoes is improved from young to old. We are here to provide a channel for this knowledge to be attained.
About dominoes
There are a variety of types of domino sets in use all over the world and a great number of games that can be played with them. Following are the rules for the two most commonly played games in the West – the “standard” or “Block” game and the “Draw” game. The instructions describe the games played with the standard or “double-six” domino set comprising 28 tiles, but both games can be played with a double-nine or a double-twelve set. In British pubs, these are also the most common games which are often played by four players as two sets of partners sitting opposite each other.
